Kris Vallotton
Senior Associate, Bethel Church

Kris Vallotton is the senior associate leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California, and has served on Bill Johnson’s apostolic team for more than thirty-three years. Kris is also the co-founder and senior overseer of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, which has grown to more than thirteen hundred full time students in thirteen years. The goal of his prophetic ministry is to encourage, train, equip, and give the Church prophetic insight into world events.

Kris Vallotton came to know God when he was fifteen years old through a healing miracle. Shirley, Kris’ mother, became seriously ill with psoriasis, which caused a rash all over her body. Out of desperation, Kris cried out to God and said, “God if You are real, if You heal my mom, I will find out who You are, and I will serve You the rest of my life.” An audible voice responded, “My name is Jesus Christ, and you have what you requested!” When Kris woke up the next morning, his mom was completely healed. About a week later, the same audible voice spoke to him again saying, “My name is Jesus Christ. You said that if I healed your mother, you would serve Me, and I am waiting!” Shortly after this life-changing experience, Kris came to know God.

After Kris and Kathy were married, Kris worked at an automotive repair shop, while Kathy worked as a bookkeeper. While they were living in San Jose, California, Kris suffered a serious nervous breakdown and decided to move his family to a small town in the mountains of the Trinity Alps of California so that he could get well. However, Kris grew worse day by day and was unable to find peace in his spirit. Kris finally received deliverance from his torment approximately three and half years later through a prophetic work from Dick Joyce and a message he listened to on the radio in the middle of the night. This victory became a rod of authority for him in his prophetic ministry.

A couple years later, the Vallottons became leaders in a small but powerful church called Mountain Chapel, where they met Bill and Beni Johnson. Kris and Kathy invested in the lives of many for seventeen years during this time. Kris received his training for ministry in business; the Vallottons started three auto parts stores, an air conditioning remanufacturing plant, and two automotive repair shops. Through managing these businesses, the Vallottons learned valuable lesions about trusting God and leading people.

In 1997, Kris and Kathy moved to Redding, California, to join Bill Johnson’s apostolic team. He founded and directed the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, which has grown from 37 students to more than 600 full-time students in Redding alone. Through the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, he hopes to see every nation in the world be positively impacted by the Kingdom of God. Kris and Kathy have also planted several other supernatural schools in other nations.

In addition to overseeing the school, Kris serves as the Senior Associate Leader at Bethel Church. With a passion to see revival spread to every nation and all realms of society, Kris and Kathy travel all around the work to speak at conferences and in churches. Kris is also a part of the Heroes of the Nation leadership team, which has a children’s village in Kenya, Africa. The village is home to more than 350 children, all of whom have lost both parents to AIDS. Each child learns a vocation and has a heart to see revival in their country.

Kris is an internationally recognized prophetic voice, and with his wife Kathy, continue to pastor, mentor, and father revivalists and prophetic teams with the aim of changing nations. His passion is to equip an “Elijah Generation” for the end-times harvest. Kris has discovered that people everywhere are tired of religion, but are hungry for true spiritual encounters. Much of his life work is devoted to seeing Christians give the world a real encounter with the living God.

He is also the founder and president of Moral Revolution, an organization dedicated to cultural transformation. Its mission is to inspire a revolution that redefines the post-modern mindsets of the global masses resulting in a culture that favorably views virginity, the marriage covenant between a man and a woman, moral purity, and values the dignity of women, men, and children everywhere.

Kris has written seven books including the Supernatural Ways of Royalty, which aims to reveal people’s true identities as princes and princesses in the Kingdom of God. The book denounces the “pauper mentality” many Christians have and encourages them to accept their royal inheritance instead. Kris reveals in the book that through Christ’s ultimate act of redemption, His children can think and act on His authority, share the King’s power of grace and mercy, promote honor and humility, and cultivate His love for one another.

Kris and Kathy Vallotton have been happily married for thirty-five years. They have four children and eight grandchildren. Three of their children are in full-time vocational ministry.
