We live for the sake of Jesus Christ, out of sheer love for Him and devotion to His Gospel. Theology can become complicated and ministry sophisticated, but our ultimate desire is Jesus alone.

We know that we can draw near to God, see His beauty, and enjoy intimacy and companionship with Him in His presence. This is the foundation of all Christian life and ministry, and it requires a pure heart, a hunger for righteousness, and an unrelenting desperation.

We depend on His presence and power for everything, and we trust Him for all kinds of miracles to confirm the Gospel among us. By His agency, Jesus constantly proves that He is better than we think, and we are continually astounded by His greatness.

We grow by increasing in humility. As we seek Him, we become more aware of our previous dullness, sinfulness, and lack of faith.  We repent daily for past sins, foolishness, and misjudgments. As we apprehend Him more, our only possible response is to go lower always and rejoice in our weakness, that He may demonstrate His own strength and wisdom through us.

We recognize that faith working through love is necessary to please God. Our faith is tested to produce perseverance, which perfects us in Christ. Thus, we have confidence in things hoped for, not in things seen.

We give eagerly and joyfully sacrifice for the work of the Kingdom. In the pursuit of obedience to Him, no cost is too great and nothing is withheld. Our offering to Him begins with a broken spirit and a contrite heart, full of joy.

We value suffering that produces holiness in us. We understand that following Christ requires willingness to suffer for His name, so we resolve to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified.

We strengthen ourselves with the unfailing joy of the Lord, which easily overtakes our suffering and trials. In His presence, we discover the fullness of joy that knows no bounds. His joy sustains us, equips us, and motivates us.

We testify that wisdom fosters excellence in all things. The discipline which leads to excellence produces righteousness in us.  Through excellence, we are given opportunities to spread the knowledge of Him and to demonstrate His love and power. We work with all our hearts that others may see our good works and glorify our God.

We celebrate God’s perfection, which far surpasses the analytic capacity of human doctrine and the descriptive capacity of human language. Though we are aware that theological tensions exist within the Church, our fellowship rests far more on honor than on alignment in the granules of doctrine. We affirm that God operates in multiple truths simultaneously, and that a keen appreciation for many doctrinal heritages is necessary to savor His magnificence.
